Tensioner (patented)

Recognised throughout the world and used by tens of thousands of wine-growers for its unequalled qualities, the FENOX tensioner is the only tightener which allows a vine wire to be tightened with ease and precision at any point on the wire and without cutting the wire.

Tightening - obtained smoothly and with great efficiency - does not require any special effort

Manufactured from steel wire which is circular in section and which has very high resistance (1,100  N/mm2), the tensioner has exceptional longevity in both versions:

• in galvanised steel, "rich galvanisation" to protect against corrosion (300g/m2)
• in stainless steel (use of 18/10 stainless steel - Grade 304)

The FENOX tensioner comes in 3 sizes

• the FENOX no 1 for vine wires up to2.7mm (Gauge no 16)
• the FENOXno 2 for vine wires up to 3.5mm with significant winding capacity (dimension well suited to vine rows of more than 50m)
• the FENOX no 3 for vine wires up to 5mm. This tensioner is intended for the wire at the end of top stakes (wire linking the stake to the anchorage). The FENOX tensioner no 3 is particularly suitable for use as trellising for fruit trees and in some foreign vineyards (Australia / USA)
