Storm Anchorage

Disk Anchoring Device

For non-stony soils, sand & mud

Designed especially for non-stony soils, sand & mud where traditional methods simply do not work, the Fenox Disk Anchorage Device gives a very firm anchorage in such adverse conditions. It is particularly effective in tilled soils, on beaches and sand dunes, and in muddy environments.

Made from high-strength steel, hot-galvanised for protection, it is simple to use, very easy to install and highly resistant to uprooting.

Available in 3 lengths, 600mm 750mm and 900mm. The same installation tool is used for either length

Anchoring Disk
Delivered in 120mm diameter and in 3 lengths of rod (600, 750 & 900mm), the Fenox disk anchor is particularly well suited to unconsolidated ground.  The loop of the rod is locked by a locking plate to avoid the opening under the tension exerted by the trellis wire.

Manufactured from high tensile steel, the Fenox anchoring disk is protected by hot-dip galvanising with a very rich zinc content. The disk is reinforced by ribbing to increase its resistance to flexing and prevent it becoming distorted when being installed.

Assembly

Slip the disk onto the rod on the side where the loop is (any directon) whilst rotating and allow it to slip down the rod

Insert the square point of the tool into the square hole on the disk (any position). Pull the rod upwards so that the disk comes to rest on the shoulder provided for this purpose

Hold the tool and the rod side by side and fasten both together with the aid of a clip.

Installation

Screw the whole thing into the soil applying slight pressure and leave at the required height

Remove the clip and release the positioning tool by pulling upwards

Attach the steel wire to the loop of the disk anchoring device, having first positioned the fastening plate.
